Our venue offers over 16,000 square feet of flexible space designed to adapt to a wide range of events, from wedding receptions and fundraisers to banquets, reunions, and celebrations of all kinds. With a spacious main hall, full bar service, ample restrooms, and thoughtful amenities throughout, the space works seamlessly behind the scenes while allowing each event to feel entirely its own.

We are a locally owned, owner-operated venue, and we remain closely involved in nearly every event we host. From early planning through the final moments of the night, we focus on preparation, flexibility, and quiet problem-solving so our clients can relax and enjoy the experience. Our goal is simple: for you to feel supported, confident, and taken care of.
Since opening in 2019, we’ve hosted countless events, each one different and personal. Along the way, we’ve learned that what people value most is knowing someone is paying attention — anticipating needs, stepping in when something unexpected arises, and being willing to go beyond what’s written on paper to make sure everything runs smoothly.
Founded by Melanie and Chris Sherer, The Event Center of Montgomery County was built on the belief that hosting an event is about caring for people, not just providing a room. While the venue provides the capacity and versatility needed for large gatherings, the experience is defined by presence, commitment, and genuine care.
